Santa Marina Salina sorge sull'Isola di Salina, una delle 7 Isole Eolie, Sicilia. Conta circa 800 abitanti e prende il nome dalla santa patrona e dall'isola stessa. Sede del principale porto dell'isola e del porto turistico, Santa Marina Salina conserva le antiche tradizioni marinare ed agricole, offre un mare splendido e qualità delle strutture ricettive di elevato livello, che hanno consentito a questo comune di attribuire negli anni 2007 e 2008 le "cinque vele di Legambiente".
